EPC Power Corp. (EPC Power), a US based leader in high-performance power conversion systems, deployed one of the industry’s first advanced power systems engineered with UtilityInnovation Group (UIG) specifically for artificial intelligence (AI) data centers. The system, featuring EPC Power’s M-series inverters, is scheduled for delivery in 2025, marking a critical step in meeting the unique power demands of AI computing.

Power infrastructure for AI data centers requires a new era of solutions suitable for high-density compute and fluctuating loads while maintaining an uncompromising demand for uninterrupted, high-quality power.

EPC’s M-inverter system establishes the hardware foundation, while UIG’s integrated energy management and controls ecosystem provides the adaptability required to respond in real time to dynamics of AI data center workloads and integrate with multiple other power generation technologies.

Together, EPC and UIG transform raw hardware capability into a resilient, intelligent solution engineered for the unique demands of AI-driven computing.

Leveraging EPC Power’s American-manufactured, grid-forming inverters and UIG’s integration and controls expertise, this system delivers unprecedented stability, resiliency, and flexibility to meet the unique demands of AI-driven computing.

“AI workloads require a level of power quality and stability far beyond traditional solutions,” said Jim Fusaro, CEO of EPC Power. “By integrating our robust inverter technology with UIG’s industry-leading controls and integration expertise, we’re delivering a solution that not only meets these demands but redefines how power infrastructure for AI data centers is built.”
