Workplace Policy

  1. Introduction

    At FALCRON PRIVATE LIMITED (“Company”), we are committed to fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and ethical remote workplace culture. This policy outlines our expectations, rights, and responsibilities to ensure a productive and compliant work environment for all employees, contractors, and partners—whether based in India or working globally.

    This policy applies to all team members of FALCRON PRIVATE LIMITED, regardless of employment type, seniority, or location.

  2. Work Environment

    Remote-First Culture

    Compute Forecast operates primarily as a remote organization.

    • Employees are expected to maintain a professional workspace that is safe, secure, and conducive to focused work.
    • A reliable internet connection, functioning computer system, and power backup (where applicable) are essential.

    Work Hours & Flexibility

    • Standard working hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM IST, Monday to Friday.
    • Flexible scheduling is permitted, provided work deliverables, team meetings, and deadlines are met.
    • Global collaboration may occasionally require attendance at meetings outside standard hours (advance notice will be given).
  3. Communication & Collaboration
    • All official communication must occur through approved company channels (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or email).
    • Employees must check and respond to messages promptly during working hours.
    • Maintain professionalism and respectful communication at all times.
  4. Confidentiality & Data Protection
    • Employees must protect all company data, client information, and research from unauthorized disclosure or misuse.
    • Do not share confidential data through personal email or storage.
    • Breach of confidentiality may lead to disciplinary action or termination.
  5. Code of Conduct
    • Maintain honesty, integrity, and inclusivity.
    • Discrimination, harassment, or bullying of any kind is strictly prohibited.
    • Compliance with Indian labor laws, IT Act, and relevant international regulations is mandatory.
  6. Attendance & Leave
    • Attendance is tracked digitally.
    • Leave must be applied for through the HRMS.
    • Leave types: Casual, Sick, Earned, and Public Holidays as per Indian calendar.
  7. Performance & Accountability
    • Employees are evaluated on quality of work, reliability, and collaboration.
    • Regular performance reviews will be conducted.
  8. Equipment & IT Policy
    • Company devices are for professional use only.
    • Personal devices used for work must be secure and password-protected.
    • Report any data breach or malware incident immediately.
  9. Health & Wellbeing
    • Employees should maintain physical and mental well-being.
    • Compute Forecast supports a POSH-compliant, harassment-free workplace.
  10. Intellectual Property
    • All work produced during employment (forecasts, reports, analytics, etc.) remains the property of FALCRON PRIVATE LIMITED.
  11. Expense Reimbursements
    • Pre-approved business expenses will be reimbursed upon submission of valid receipts.
  12. Disciplinary Action
    • Misconduct, policy violations, or data breaches may result in warnings, suspension, or termination.
  13. Global Operations & Compliance
    • Compute Forecast adheres to Indian employment and data protection laws.
    • GDPR and other international compliance norms are followed for global clients.
  14. Grievance Redressal

    • All complaints will be handled confidentially and fairly.
  15. Acknowledgment
    • All employees must read, understand, and agree to comply with this policy during onboarding.

Annexure A: Remote Work & IT Security Policy

  1. Objective
    • To ensure security, accountability, and compliance for all remote employees of FALCRON PRIVATE LIMITED.
  2. Scope
    • Applies to all full-time, part-time, and contractual remote workers.
  3. Expectations
    • Maintain a dedicated, distraction-free workspace.
    • A stable internet connection is mandatory.
    • Attendance in scheduled meetings is required.
  4. Communication
    • Use only official platforms (Slack, Zoom, Teams, Google, etc.).
    • Timely responses during working hours are expected.
  5. IT Security
    • Use company-approved devices and tools.
    • Strong passwords and MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) are required.
    • Avoid public Wi-Fi; use a VPN if necessary.
    • Report any suspicious activity or breach immediately.
  6. Software & Data Handling
    • Install only authorized software.
    • Company devices and data must be returned upon exit.
  7. Disciplinary Action
    • Non-compliance may lead to disciplinary measures or termination.

Annexure B: POSH Policy (Prevention of Sexual Harassment)

  1. Objective
    • To provide a safe and respectful workplace for all genders.
  2. Policy Statement
    • Zero tolerance for sexual harassment, whether physical, verbal, or online.
  3. Scope
    • Applies to all employees, interns, vendors, and clients, across all virtual and physical workspaces.
  4. Definition
    • Includes unwelcome remarks, sexual advances, jokes, messages, or gestures that create a hostile environment.
  5. Internal Committee (IC)
    • Consists of:
      • Presiding Officer (senior female employee)
      • Two employee members
      • External member (expert or NGO representative)
  6. Complaint Process
    • Send complaints to [email protected] within 3 months of the incident.
    • Inquiry initiated within 7 working days.
    • Strict confidentiality maintained.
  7. Disciplinary Action
    • Depending on severity:
      • Warning
      • Suspension
      • Termination
      • Legal escalation if necessary
  8. Retaliation Protection
    • No retaliation or discrimination against complainants or witnesses.
  9. Awareness
    • Annual workshops and virtual training sessions will be conducted.

Annexure C: Employee Code of Conduct & Ethics Policy

  1. Purpose
    • To define ethical standards and expected behavior of all Compute Forecast employees.
  2. Core Values

  3. Professional Conduct
    • Be respectful and professional in all communications.
    • Avoid conflicts of interest.
    • Do not engage in discriminatory or defamatory behavior.
  4. Confidentiality
    • All data and intellectual property created during employment belong to FALCRON PRIVATE LIMITED.
  5. Anti-Bribery & Corruption
    • Offering or accepting bribes is strictly prohibited.
    • All gifts and hospitality must be disclosed to management.
  6. Legal Compliance
    • Comply with Indian and international laws applicable to your role.
