Avisirah Technologies has secured a ₹75 crore loan facility from Syndicate Finance to advance a proposed data center and high-performance computing project in Navi Mumbai, adding fresh capital to India’s expanding AI infrastructure pipeline. The financing follows a ₹50 crore secured loan that Syndicate Finance extended to the company in May 2025, bringing total financing from the lender to ₹125 crore. Avisirah plans to deploy the latest capital across land acquisition, physical infrastructure, computing equipment and working capital as the project moves through development. The transaction also highlights how financing requirements for AI-oriented facilities increasingly extend well beyond the servers that eventually occupy the data hall.
₹75 Crore Facility Expands Avisirah’s Funding Base
Syndicate Finance extended the ₹75 crore facility after conducting due diligence and a credit appraisal that included an evaluation of the proposed project, use of funds and documentation submitted for the financing. Avisirah also envisages a further funding program of up to ₹125 crore during 2027–28, although that capital remains subject to project milestones, definitive documentation, credit approvals and customary conditions. If that program proceeds as contemplated, the financing relationship could ultimately support up to ₹250 crore across different phases of the company’s data center development program. That potential funding trajectory gives Avisirah a broader capital framework as it works toward converting a proposed Navi Mumbai site into operating digital infrastructure.
The latest ₹75 crore facility has a wide deployment mandate rather than a narrow equipment-purchasing role. Avisirah plans to use the financing for land acquisition in Navi Mumbai, development of the proposed data center and civil, electrical, power, cooling and connectivity infrastructure. Capital can also support the procurement and installation of computing and data center equipment, along with working capital associated with development and operations. That mix matters because high-density computing capacity depends on an integrated physical stack in which power delivery, cooling, connectivity and computing equipment must develop together.
Navi Mumbai Project Targets 5.5 MW IT Load
Published project details describe a greenfield, Uptime Tier III-equivalent colocation data center planned for the Navi Mumbai belt and structured around two development phases. The two phases are described at ₹125 crore each, with Phase I designed for approximately 2.5 MW of IT load and Phase II adding about 3 MW. At full development, the facility is expected to reach approximately 5.5 MW of IT load and around 1,100 racks, based on an average design density of 5 kW per rack. Both phases are expected to use a shared land parcel and common power and cooling backbone, giving the project a phased route toward its planned capacity.
The infrastructure is intended to support high-performance and high-density computing requirements associated with artificial intelligence, cloud computing and other data-intensive applications. That positioning places the project in a part of the data center market where facility design increasingly needs to account for computing environments that can place substantial demands on electrical and thermal infrastructure. For Avisirah, the financing therefore represents more than a conventional property-development transaction because the capital must support the systems surrounding the compute environment as well as the facility itself. The company’s ability to align land, power, cooling, connectivity and equipment procurement will influence how effectively the proposed capacity moves from financing commitments into usable infrastructure.
Funding Covers More Than Computing Hardware
Avisirah has outlined a broad use for the ₹75 crore facility. The company plans to direct capital toward land acquisition, civil works, electrical infrastructure, power systems, cooling and connectivity. Funding can also support the purchase and installation of computing and data center equipment. A portion can cover working-capital requirements linked to development and operations.
That spending mix reflects the infrastructure needed before high-performance computing capacity can become commercially available. Servers and accelerators represent only one part of a functioning compute environment. Electrical distribution, cooling, networking and physical facilities must support the equipment throughout operation. For customers, those supporting systems can directly affect the capacity and reliability available for computing workloads.
Avisirah Links Project to AI Infrastructure Demand
Suresh Gurav, Director of Avisirah Technologies Private Limited, linked the development to changing computing requirements in India. “Artificial intelligence is fundamentally changing the scale and nature of computing infrastructure required by businesses. India is witnessing significant growth in demand for AI, cloud and data-intensive computing capacity, and we believe Navi Mumbai is strategically positioned to participate in this next phase of digital infrastructure development.” The statement places the proposed facility within the broader expansion of compute-intensive digital infrastructure.
Gurav also described the financing as an important step in the company’s development program. “The ₹75 crore financing from Syndicate Finance is an important milestone in our development programme. It follows our earlier ₹50 crore financing relationship and will enable us to progress land acquisition, infrastructure development, equipment procurement and working capital requirements for the project.” Meanwhile, the proposed future funding shows that Avisirah expects capital requirements to continue as development progresses.
Capital Must Follow the Project’s Physical Buildout
Data center projects require capital before operators can make computing capacity available to customers. Developers need to secure land and construct the physical systems that support servers, storage and networking equipment. Power distribution, cooling and connectivity add further requirements before a facility reaches commercial operation. Avisirah’s financing covers several of these infrastructure layers rather than one isolated component.
The distinction between secured and prospective financing is also important. Syndicate Finance has extended ₹125 crore across the earlier and latest facilities. Avisirah expects to seek up to another ₹125 crore during 2027–28, subject to conditions and approvals. However, that future amount remains part of a planned funding program rather than financing already secured.
High-Performance Computing Shapes the Project
Avisirah intends the facility to support high-performance and high-density computing requirements. Those workloads can include artificial intelligence, cloud services and other data-intensive applications. Their infrastructure needs can place significant demands on power delivery, thermal management and network connectivity. AI and high-performance computing are adding another layer of demand to that established market. Avisirah’s proposed project targets that opportunity with a smaller footprint than the country’s largest hyperscale campuses.
Its planned 5.5 MW IT load also shows that AI-oriented infrastructure development does not need to begin at hyperscale size. Smaller projects can target specific high-density, cloud and colocation requirements while expanding capacity in stages. That approach may allow developers to align later investment with project progress and customer demand. Avisirah’s two-phase structure follows that development logic.
Financing Turns Plans Into Physical Capacity
The ₹75 crore facility gives Avisirah capital for several components needed to move its Navi Mumbai development forward.
