Strong Earnings Boost Confidence

DigitalOcean reported $230 million in revenue for Q3, marking a 16% increase compared with the same period last year. Meanwhile, net income soared to $158 million, reflecting a remarkable 381% year-over-year growth.

As a result, the company raised its full-year revenue guidance to $896-897 million and adjusted its non-GAAP earnings per share forecast to $2.00–$2.05. CEO Paddy Srinivasan emphasized that DigitalOcean’s agentic cloud platform is becoming a preferred choice for AI-driven and digital-native enterprises. Consequently, the market sees renewed confidence in the company’s expansion plans.

Strategic Partnership with Persistent

In a significant development, DigitalOcean announced a multi-year partnership with Persistent Systems, a global leader in digital engineering and enterprise modernization. Under the agreement, Persistent selected DigitalOcean as its exclusive cloud and AI infrastructure provider for the SASVAâ„¢ platform.

SASVA, an AI-powered platform that integrates code, documentation, architecture, and executive summaries, will run on DigitalOcean’s Gradient AI Agentic Cloud. It leverages GPU infrastructure and supports the full lifecycle of AI agent development, ensuring enterprise-grade workloads are delivered efficiently.

Tackling Barriers to AI Adoption

Organizations adopting AI often face rising GPU costs, fragmented agent development ecosystems, and mounting security concerns. Through this collaboration, Persistent and DigitalOcean aim to address these challenges directly. By combining Persistent’s engineering expertise with DigitalOcean’s robust agentic cloud infrastructure, businesses can deploy AI workloads faster. Moreover, operational costs can be reduced by over 50%, enabling more predictable and scalable AI adoption across industries.
