Its Singapore-based subsidiary, SB Telecom Singapore, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SC Zeus, the data center platform of SC Capital Partners, and Malaysian high-performance computing specialist Robust HPC. The collaboration is designed to combine infrastructure development, digital connectivity, and GPU computing capabilities under one partnership. Although the agreement remains non-binding, it outlines a coordinated approach toward serving one of the world’s fastest-growing digital infrastructure markets.
The companies intend to develop data center projects across Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam, countries that continue to attract investment from hyperscalers, cloud providers, and AI infrastructure operators. Demand across these markets has accelerated as enterprises deploy larger AI workloads while governments encourage digital transformation through supportive infrastructure policies. The partners also indicated that the collaboration could eventually expand beyond these four markets into the broader Southeast Asian region. However, they did not disclose the number of planned facilities, individual capacities, investment values, or expected construction timelines.

SB Telecom Singapore will oversee data hall fit-outs, ICT infrastructure integration, deployment support, and network connectivity, positioning itself at the center of digital infrastructure delivery. SC Zeus will serve as the preferred infrastructure development partner, managing land acquisition, facility design, construction, and long-term operations. Robust HPC, meanwhile, will lead procurement and deployment of GPU clusters that are expected to power AI-focused computing environments within the facilities.

Robust HPC complements the alliance through its specialization in high-performance computing systems. Founded in 2010 and led by Tecsun and Ensun Yeep, the Malaysian technology consulting firm focuses on GPU infrastructure and enterprise computing deployments. According to the company, it currently holds 60MW in authorized power supply permits, with 3MW having entered operation last year. Those capabilities position Robust HPC to support AI compute deployment as regional demand for GPU capacity continues to accelerate.
