CleanCore Solutions has secured one of its largest infrastructure commitments since entering the AI data center market after signing a 10-year colocation agreement with wafer-scale AI chip developer Cerebras. The agreement gives Cerebras exclusive use of CleanCore’s Minnesota data center campus, reinforcing a growing industry shift toward long-term infrastructure reservations as AI compute demand continues to accelerate. Announced on July 29, the contract provides CleanCore with a major anchor customer while giving Cerebras dedicated capacity to support future AI deployments. The companies expect the partnership to become a central component of their long-term infrastructure strategies.
The initial agreement carries an estimated contract value of approximately $800 million over its first 10 years. Renewal options could increase the total value beyond $3 billion over the life of the relationship. The scale of the commitment highlights how AI infrastructure providers are increasingly securing customers through decade-long capacity agreements rather than shorter colocation arrangements. Such contracts also improve long-term revenue visibility for infrastructure developers expanding into hyperscale AI markets.
Campus Expansion Targets 40MW of AI Compute Capacity
CleanCore’s Minnesota campus is being developed with a total utility power capacity of 55MW and will ultimately provide 40MW of AI compute capacity once construction reaches completion. Around 15MW of compute capacity is already available today. The remaining infrastructure is scheduled to enter service during the first quarter of 2027. CleanCore also expects to begin recognizing revenue from the campus during that period. The Cerebras agreement represents another milestone in CleanCore’s rapid transformation from a cleaning products company into an AI infrastructure developer. Although the company’s website continues to list cleaning and disinfection products among its offerings, its strategic direction changed significantly during June after leadership announced a broader focus on digital infrastructure.
The transition coincided with the appointment of Tyler Hassen as chief executive officer. Under the revised strategy, the company stated it would focus on “building critical AI infrastructure across the United States” while moving away from both its traditional cleaning products business and its previously announced Dogecoin treasury strategy. Consequently, CleanCore has repositioned itself toward one of the fastest-growing segments within digital infrastructure. The earlier cryptocurrency strategy had included the acquisition of 285,420,000 Dogecoin during September 2025, valued at approximately $68 million at the time of purchase. That initiative has since taken a secondary role as infrastructure investments become the company’s primary growth priority.
Cerebras Expands Commercial AI Infrastructure Momentum
The CleanCore partnership arrives shortly after Cerebras announced another significant enterprise deployment. Last week, cybersecurity company CrowdStrike selected Cerebras to power inference capabilities for its Falcon AIDR platform, extending the AI chip company’s presence into enterprise security workloads. In a LinkedIn post, Cerebras founder and CEO Andrew Feldman said: “Faster inference gives security AI time to observe live telemetry, call tools, validate evidence, and act before the window to respond closes. Cerebras was built for this: inference up to 15x faster than leading GPU-based solutions. Falcon AIDR on Cerebras brings that speed to one of AI’s most important applications: protecting the enterprise in real time.” The latest customer wins demonstrate Cerebras’ strategy of pairing specialized AI hardware with dedicated infrastructure capable of supporting inference-intensive workloads at scale.
Long-duration infrastructure contracts are becoming increasingly valuable as AI developers compete for reliable power, available compute capacity, and faster deployment timelines. Instead of depending entirely on public cloud availability, AI companies are beginning to reserve dedicated infrastructure years in advance, providing operators with predictable revenue while guaranteeing future compute access. The CleanCore-Cerebras agreement reflects that broader shift. Beyond its financial value, the deal signals how infrastructure ownership, power availability, and long-term capacity reservations are emerging as strategic assets alongside advanced AI silicon. As competition for utility power intensifies across North America, partnerships structured around dedicated multi-year compute capacity could become a defining feature of the next generation of AI infrastructure.
