India’s data center investment market could be set for a major shift with STT Global Data Centers India being eyed by KKR, Singtel and Tata Group for sale. A potential deal would generate at least $5 billion for shareholders and place one of the largest data center platforms in the country up for grabs. International infrastructure investors are competing for opportunities in India and the shareholders have appointed advisers to look at potential interest from international data center operators, domestic conglomerates and institutional investors. This could be one of the largest data center deals in India and puts a large focus on how much the business is worth in terms of its current assets, contracted capacity and potential for future growth.
