A new alliance between OXMIQ Labs and AM Intelligence Labs aims to redefine how large-scale AI infrastructure is designed and powered. The two companies announced a strategic technology partnership to architect one of the world’s largest renewable-powered AI compute platforms, targeting 2 gigawatts of AI compute capacity by 2030.

The collaboration places India at the center of the emerging global race to build infrastructure capable of supporting the explosive growth of artificial intelligence workloads. The project will begin with a 1 GW AI Compute Hub in Uttar Pradesh, with development already underway in Noida.

OXMIQ, the GPU architecture and AI technology company founded by semiconductor industry veteran Raja Koduri, will provide system architecture and infrastructure advisory for the initiative. Meanwhile, AM Intelligence Labs will oversee the platform’s development as part of the broader technology ambitions of AM Group.

Noida Compute Hub Becomes Foundation of Gigawatt AI Strategy

AM Group has commenced development of its flagship AI infrastructure initiative, with Phase 1 of the Noida Compute Hub now in active execution. The company plans to bring the first tranche of compute capacity online by the end of 2027. That milestone will mark the early stage of a platform designed to scale into one of the largest renewable-powered AI compute ecosystems globally.

The project builds on the energy capabilities of Greenko, the AM Group subsidiary that operates 50 GW of renewable capacity across solar, wind, and hydro resources. The portfolio also includes approximately 100 GWh of intelligent energy storage, enabling round-the-clock power supply for high-density compute operations. As a result, the AI infrastructure platform will operate on carbon-free energy priced 50–70% lower than conventional data center electricity.

India’s strategic positioning in the AI economy adds further momentum. The country’s vast developer ecosystem, expanding digital services sector, and accelerating enterprise AI adoption are pushing demand for compute capacity sharply upward. Consequently, analysts now expect India to become the world’s second-largest market for AI usage and token consumption.

OXMIQ to Architect Full Compute Stack for AI Infrastructure

Under the partnership, OXMIQ will serve as the architecture and engineering partner for the compute platform. The company will collaborate with AM Intelligence Labs to design the systems architecture, hardware roadmap, and supply chain strategy supporting the facility.

OXMIQ’s expertise spans the full AI compute stack, including transistor-level GPU design, advanced packaging technologies, rack-scale systems, high-speed interconnects, and orchestration software for large-scale AI workloads. Therefore, the partnership will shape infrastructure decisions from the earliest stages of development.

The Noida AI compute hub will operate as a vertically integrated platform. It will combine carbon-free power generation, high-density data center infrastructure, advanced accelerators, and a comprehensive software stack. The platform will also introduce flexible consumption models, ranging from AI Pods-as-a-Service to Tokens-as-a-Service, designed to support enterprise and developer demand.

Moreover, the architecture will integrate energy infrastructure directly with compute deployment. Engineers will design every layer from renewable power generation and data center layout to liquid cooling systems, interconnect topology, accelerator configuration, and workload orchestration as a unified platform. This approach aims to unlock what industry leaders describe as “electrons-to-tokens economics,” where energy production, compute architecture, and AI workload delivery operate as a single optimized system.

Leadership Perspectives

“AM Intelligence Labs is the ideal partner for OXMIQ. They have solved the hardest constraint in large-scale AI infrastructure: access to reliable, carbon-free power at global scale. Our team has spent decades building silicon, systems, and software that power the world’s most advanced computing platforms. Bringing that expertise into AM Intelligence Labs’ infrastructure from the first architectural decisions means every rack, every interconnect, every storage and cooling system is designed around the workloads and economics required for the AI era.” said Raja Koduri, Founder and CEO, OXMIQ Labs

“OXMIQ gives AM Intelligence Labs access to some of the deepest hardware and systems expertise in the industry. Their team’s experience across leading Silicon Valley companies is exactly what we need to architect infrastructure that can compete globally. Together we are laying the foundation for AM Intelligence Labs to become a full-stack AI compute platform.” said Anil Chalamalasetty, Group Chairman, AM Group

The partnership reflects a broader shift across the AI infrastructure landscape. Hyperscale compute deployments now require both massive energy availability and advanced system architecture to remain economically viable.

However, renewable-powered compute platforms could reshape that equation. By aligning energy generation, infrastructure design, and AI workloads within a single ecosystem, developers can deliver gigawatt-scale compute while dramatically lowering operating costs.

Therefore, the OXMIQ–AM Intelligence Labs partnership signals more than a data center project. It represents a blueprint for next-generation AI infrastructure, where energy and compute evolve together to power the global AI economy.
